Hello and happy Friday! It is time for a new fun challenge at CAS-ual Fridays. Think typography, letters, fonts, script... text! Text is a true classic in cardmaking but so trendy at the same time, don't you think? So go ahead and join us this week by making a Clean and Simple project that includes some kind of text
Not only you can win a fantastic shopping spree in Simon Says Stamp, but also a guest designer spot at CAS-ual Fridays! How great is that? :)
Although lately I've been in love with big, bold and graphic fonts, for my inspiration card I went with a more classical one. Also, don't let this CAS baby and the bad picture fool you because it is really inky. I tried a faux letterpress with my PTI text impression plate and yellow ink. It almost doesn't show in the photo, but in real life the result is great. The silhouette image was heat embossed and then inked with Distress Ink and one of those handy blending tools.
Now go check here the rest of the beautiful creations the DT has for you! And don't forget to stop daily by the CAS-ual Fridays Facebook page for a bonus dose of inspiration.
Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic weekend!
Supplies: Cardstock: Canson, Bazzill; Stamps: PTI; Ink: (teal) Distress Ink, (black) Versafine, (yellow) PTI; Embossing powder (clear) Ranger; Impression plate: PTI; Other: Stickles, white gel pen.
