Hi there! It's Friday (thank God!) and that means it's time for another fun CAS-ual Fridays challenge!
And because it is hot, hot, hot out there... well, let's strip ;) -ok, bad bad joke I know, but I coulnd't help it-. Join us this week with a clean and simple project that incorporates some kind of strips. Paper, washi tape, masking tape, fabric strips... lots of fun ideas!
I went with a combination of patterned paper strips. This is a fantastic way to use your paper scraps! For my card, I cut a square from cardstock, covered it with adhesive tape, adhered the strips I had previously cut and trimmed the edges.
The sentiment is formed with die cut letters from a Lifestyle Crafts alphabet. I let the card base bare because I find the docal point is busy enough with all that different patterns :)
I hope you can play along with the challenge! There are a lot of awesome ideas from the rest of the Girl Fridays here and also a daily dose of inspiration on the CAS-ual Fridays Facebook place.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy your Summer!
Supplies: Cardstock: Canson; Patterned paper: assorted from Basic Grey, My Mind's Eye and S.E.I.; Die: (alphabet) Lifestyle Crafts.
