Happy Friday, friends! It's time for a new CAS-ual Fridays challenge, and this week it's all about scoring.
So what a better sponsor than the Scor-Pal people for it? And they are offering a fantastic prize for our winner, more details to be revealed at the challenge Blog.
Scoring is a great way to add texture and a bit of dimension to cards, don't you think?
Here I scored lines on my cardstock piece to build a grid and then I sanded it to make it pop. Next, I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment on vellum (sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Merry Kiss-mas set) and wrapped the piece around the scored cardstock. Holly leaves and berries die cut from felt and cardstock finish the card. Oh, and I added some glossy accents to the berries. Love that shiny finish :)
That's it from me! But there's plenty of scoring inspiration from the Girl Fridays at the CAS-ual Fridays blog. Don't miss it!
Thanks for visiting and have an awesome weekend!
Supplies: Cardstock: Canson, DCWV; Stamps: CAS-ual Fridays Stamps; Ink: Versamark; Embossing powder: Ranger; Dies: PTI; Other: felt, glossy accents, vellum, scoring board.
