¡Hola! First of all, thanks so much for all the birthday wishes. I had a fabulous day :) And second, a card. I'm totally in love with the new line Amy Tangerine released with American Crafts. The papers are delightful! I could see myself hoarding them for years when I remembered something I recently read on another crafter's blog: Use it while you love it. Don't hoard it, because 3 years later you will find it and probably wonder why on earth did you love it so much.
So I broke up that paper pad, which was perfect for a card inspired by the current Runway Inspired challenge. That dress totally screamed misting. Except for the little fact that I'm horrible at misting. A complete disaster. A crappy mister. And here is where this deliciously pre-misted pattern comes handy. I let it do all the job :D
I used Lilybee stickers for the sentiment. I love that stuff, the size is perfect for cardmaking and it comes in lots of colors. The fuchsia letters were originally white and after some messing with a Memento inkpad and a pink Copic, they ended up as you see them... quite artsy :P I also added a die cut butterfly.
Thanks so much for visiting!
