Morning! Kristina posted a new color inspiration challenge a couple of days ago (you can find it here) and to be honest, I really struggled with it because I hadn't almost any supplies to match the colors except some ribbon and vanila cardstock. But then I remembered that a friend gave me a while ago a bunch of cards with photo-samples of the fabrics she sells from the french brand Souleiado (gorgeous fabrics by the way, but way too expensive for my budget). So I had a look and... tadaaa!!! A couple of them matched the CI tones which allowed me to play along :) Not sure about the final result though. Maybe too much dimension? What do you think?
Anyway, here's the challenge banner and next is my card. Gorgeous shoes, by the way!
The "not sure about it" card
Supplies: Kraft and vanilla cardstock; PP, Souleiado sample card; Stamps, Making Memories (brackets), GStudio (sentiment) and misc (vintage handwriting); Gingerbread chalk ink and emboss-it; Other: satin ribbon, satin cord, staples.
Sadly the picture doesn't show well the lower stamping with emboss ink. Looks better in real life. Thanks for stopping by and have a nice week!
Love that paper, the stapled ribbon, and the tag - great design on this!
