Good evening! Not sure if I've said this before, but probably my fave collection ever has to be Cosmo Cricket's Early Bird. I've been hoarding it for months because I wanted to use it on projects that would be around me for a while so I could enjoy the gorgeous patterns daily. So instead of making cards, I decided to use it on projects for home. Today I want to share the first of them with you.
It's a super simple noteboard for the fridge with two matching magnets. For the board I used a piece of cardboard with two strips of magnet sheet attached to the back. Then I covered it with patterned paper and rounded the corners with my Corner Chomper. I cut out and stuck one of the "elements sheet" cards from the Early Bird collection to another piece of cardstock and attached it on the board with foam tape for some added dimension. The bottom of the board is finished with a stripe from the stickers sheet (aren't those cofee cups really darn cute?!?!) and I also added a couple of Papertrey Ink's vintage buttons.
For the magnets (Ikea) I adhered the patterned paper with glossy accents, trimmed it with scissors and a file, and finished them with some more Early Bird stickers.
And obviously, I adhered a post-it style notepad wit some scor-tape.
I hope you like this little project and as always, thanks so much for stopping by!
Such a neat idea!!
