Hi there! You may have noticed that pleated paper is quite the rage right now in the crafting world. Probably that's why the challenge for this week at the Cards blog is to create a card with pleats of any kind.
And here's what I came up with. A paper pleated Christmas tree (even if my hubs says it's not a Xmas tree because it has no trunk. Men...). I started with an aqua base that I embossed with PTI's woodgrain impression plate. The I die cut a mat stack from PTI and stamped and heat embossed with white powder this Hero Arts snowy cling stamp. For the tree I used some oldie but goodie stashed paper, I think it's K&Co. The sentiment was also heat embossed on a strip of vellum.
