Fun foam rocks!

Hi there! Did you know that you can die cut fun foam? I did. But what I didn't knew is that you can stamp with it too!!! So cool!! Check PTI's Make It Monday video here. Wow. And here's my entry for the challenge:

The flowers were die cut from normal fun foam and the leaves, from a textured one I found in Montevideo a while ago. I made the button by die cutting a circle, covering it with patterned paper and punching the holes with my crop-a-dile. Easy and fun to do :)

One layer

Hi there and happy Sunday! A quick post today to share a one layer card I made for a submissions call but wasn't picked. So time to share it here :)

No need to explain the process in this card, right? Just some good old therapeutic stamping and a few metallic rhinestones. Mail friendly!

Hope you're having a great weekend. A friend from the US is visiting, so we're having a busy schedule. Yesterday it was Cuenca and today we're heading to Toledo.

Hi everyone! It's saturday and it's heavily raining outside, my son is busy with his Thomas and Friends trains and hubby has to work today. What does all that mean? Come on, you know...

So here I am with another card for Cath's paper piecing challenge at the Moxie Fab World. Lookie here for details. I truly love this card. Boy, it was a labor of patiente to cut out that flower. Thank you to my dear friend Virginia Lu who sent me that pretty Jenny Bowlin bookprint paper all the way from Canada!

My fave technique

... is paper piecing, but you already know that :)

So here's a card with tons of my fave technique. I paper pieced the house, the windows, the roof, and the door, and accented with Copics and even some stamping (see the woodgrain door and the post sign?). I'm entering this card in one of the Moxie Fab World's Stamp it! Techniques Week challenges. Check all the deets here!. The paper piecing one, obviously. And also in the Hero Arts challenge, which includes friendship cards this month.

A dream come true

I GOT 3 CARDS PICKED FOR PAPER CRAFTS STAMP IT SPECIAL ISSUE!!! YAYYYYYYY!!!

Ok, sorry for the caps abuse, but I had to say it very loud, maybe that way I'll know I'm not dreaming... This was my main crafting goal for this year, being published, and it's going to happen!!! So people, if you really have a dream, follow it!!! And submit, submit, submit some more because the efforts give their fruits :) And now, today's card:

See? I told you my blog is going to be all about hearts this day. I entered this card in the current Hero Arts challenge (details here). It features the kissing technique, a bit inky-messy but very fun to try. I love that woodgrain embossed background.

Hearts overload

Hi there! I warn you: during the following week you may find a hearts and valentine's overload here, so if you are allergic to any of those, or pink and red for that matter, you'd better start running now ;)

So here's my little number for today. It's my entry for the current Lawnscaping challenge (details here) and I used Tiff's sketch TG006, which you can find here. It looks like a very simple card but boy, did I gave that sketch a few thoughts! All the stamps are Lawn Fawn: birdies from Bannerific and the sentiment from Just my type.

Back again!

Hello, hello, hello!!! Yes, I'm still alive. I've just been working very, very hardly on a submission call and now the only thing left is crossing fingers :) And for my return, what better than celebrating Papertrey Ink's 4th anniversary? A new feature called Make it Mondays is debuting today in Nichole's blog and I can't help but join the fun... So here's my Go-To Sentiment card.

Instead of using the same kind of sentiment all over, I gave it a twist and choose sentiments that would complement the notion of Friend. I like the result ;)
