Embossing

Hello there! We arrived safely in Madrid and we'll be heading North next Thursday for the final stretch of our summer holidays. Many people out there seems to be craving for cooler time, fall and all that stuff. Not me! I love summer and sun, it feels soooo good! Guess that's because I'm Mediterranean :) I'm SO not ready for rain, cold, school and spending so much time on the car! Anyway, enough ranting and on to my card for today, which uses a lot of one of my fave techniques: embossing, both dry and heat:

I made it for my dear grandmother (and also for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge which this weeks focuses on embossing, all the details here). This color combo is one of my all time faves. The pop of red was added with Ranger Liquid Pearls. Both the focal image and the sentiment were heat embossed in white, while the base pannel was debossed with a PTI plate and the medium one was dry embossed with a circle nestabilitie die.
