... and no, I'm not going to the Olimpic Games ;) But I've been itching to play along with the CASE Study challenge for some time, and last weekend I finally found the time to sit down and play around to make something for it.
This is the stunning inspiration card created by Amy Sheffer
And this is my card
I took the doilies, the butterfly and the color scheme from her card. The flowers were made with PTI Mehndi Medallion. I die cut a circle, stamped the bigger medallion from the set and cut it in 4 (I still have two pieces for another card, yay!). For the butterfly, I misted a piece of cardstock with a Studio Calico mist, let it dry, stamped the PTI butterfly and cut it. The leaves are part of a sprig of mistletoe I die cut with a Memory Box die. And I think that's all...
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Supplies: Cardstock: Canson; Stamps: All PTI (Mehndi Medallions, Butterfly Dreams, 2010 Anniversary set); Ink: Versafine black; Dies: circle Nestabilities, Memory Box mistletoe; Other: Stabillo black pen, Studio Calico mist.
I love how your card turned out! The mehndi stamping is so elegant and the flower shape adds a touch of whimsy!

On, me likey this a lottttttt!! How innovative! I love how fan-shaped flowers... they are so chic and classy. Gorgeous work, my friend.
An update on our PTI package, I'm still waiting for the new release package... Apparently, the tracking shows it was misrouted to another HI island. Grrrr.... the old stuff box came in a while ago.
On a happier note, Merry Christmas to you and yours!!
