Hi there! What an original title for my post, uh? :) But hey, they're the star of the show today, so I guess they deserved to be on the title :) Ok, so I created this card for the Cutting and Trimming Challenge at the Moxie Fab World, and my color inspiration was taken from the current Runway Inspired Challenge. My tool was an Xacto knife. I used it to trim the outside and the inside of all those PTI hexagons that I had previously stamped and heat embossed in white (you'll find the hexagons in this set). Then, I simply adhered them to colored cardstock and trimmed again (hey, this is a great way to use your scraps!).
When my hexagons were ready, I fiddled around a bit with them while I decided the pattern I wanted to create. And then I discovered that they fitted as a pretty awesome flower!! Oh, happy day...
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Cardstock: Canson; Stamps: Rosie Posie by PTI, Technique Tuesday (sentiment); Ink: Versamark, Versafine black; Embossing powder: Ranger; Other: Olfa cutting blade (a must!).
Loving the super trendy hexagons here, Lorena! Those bold, pops of colour are pretty fabulous too!
Hugs,
Aimes

Well, that's postcard is awesome. I can't express my delight with words. In particular, i adore the words your wrote right under the hexagons. They are sincere and make the whole design of the postcard complete. Nice work!
