Hello friends! Time for a new CAS-ual Fridays Challenge! This week it's all about one of my favorite techniques: embossing. We'd love to see clean and simple projects that include some form of embossing. It can be dry embossing, heat embossing and of course both of them combined too :)
This is the first Friday of the month, which means that the winner not only gets a fantastic GC from our sponsor Simon Says Stamp, but also a spot as a Guest Designer with us! You can find all the details on the CAS-ual Fridays blog.
As you can see, I went for heat embossing on my inspiration card.
Last month I just added to my collection a few new colors of Zing embossing powders and I just couldn't wait to use them. The one I used is called Mustard and it's gorgeous! I masked half of the card and stamped it with this Hero Arts background. After heat embossing I added the orange with Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink and filled in the smaller squares with a Dove blender pen and Peeled Paint Distress Ink.
The sentiment is PTI and the card was finished with twine and a little button.
You can visit the challenge blog to see all the awesome inspiration the rest of the Girl Fridays have for you there, and don't forget to visit our Facebook page for yet more daily gorgeous creations. Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
