PTI April Blog Hop

Hey! A super quick post to join the PTI Blog Hop. This month it's about tilted designs, and I came up with this (oh, and I went gold-embossing crazy too. Sorry for the pic, I had to take it with my phone.

I used Maile's Bountiful Banners set, scor-tape to make the embossed gold frame and a bit of The Twinery gold twine.

Hooked on watercoloring

Happy Wednesday, crafty friends! In the middle of the submissions craze I managed to create a little something for The Wonder of Watercolor challenge at the Moxie Fab World. The images are totally inspiring, check them and all the details here.

This is my card:

I heat embossed a beautiful lace border (WPlus9) and then went over it with Inktense pencils and a waterbrush. A sentiment and a simple black strip finish the card, because the image is so gorgeous and detailed that I thought this time less was more :)

CFC99: It's a Birthday Bash!

 

Hello friends! Today's CAS-ual Fridays Challenge is a very special one, and not only because it's number 99. We're celebrating big this week! It's Michele's birthday, so it's the perfect time to show us your birthday creations CAS style :)

 

Sure there has to be more to it, right? Yes there is! This challenge will run for two weeks (more time for creating, yay!) and there's an a.ma.zing prize por the winner. Check it on the challenge blog here.

Ok, if we're having a birthday we need some birthday stuff, right? Like a party hat...

 

 

My trusty Cameo came to the rescue again. After I die cut the party hat twice, I customized it with the tiny diamond stamp from Only You and a sentiment from Woot Woot!. Oh, yes, and sequins. As everyone knows, if we're celebrating, we just need sequins. Ok, I just made that up, but aren't they cute all lined up?

CFC98: Glitter

 Hello friends! Welcome to a new CAS-ual Fridays challenge :) Are you ready to shine? (ok, bad joke...). This week we'd love to see clean and simple creations using glitter. Stickles are ok too.

Last week I went crafty-shopping with a good friend and we found a gorgeous glittered craft foam. And unlike other foams like this I've seen before, ins this one the glitter stays where it's supposed to: on the foam, and not all over the place. And the colors were beautiful too! So I bought a few sheets. And here's the result:

 

My card uses the polka dot rows image from Only You heat embossed in clear and a partially stamped sentiment from Woot Woot! I completed the sentiment die cutting letters from said glitter craft foam and *gasp* I ventured the splatters road too. And I happen to like the result :)

CFC97: Chevrons and Flowers

Hello friends! Yay for Fridays and for new challenges! This week at CAS-ual Fridays we're looking for clean and simple creations where two different elements are combined: chevron and flowers. Isn't it a match made in heaven? :)

This time I challenged myself and tried to use the required elements in other way than stamping. So the chevrons were embossed on the card base, and the flowers are in the form of patterned paper. I combined two different sentiments and heat embossed them in gold. Don't you love the gold trend? Well, I do!
