Hi there! Remember I said I'll be back with some more ideas using Nina's Simply Tags: Christmas and Texture Tiles: Be Cute for Avery Elle. Well, here I am! I have four different fun ideas for making tags.
I mixed elements from the two new sets with sentiments from Simply Tags: Everyday. Here's what I did:
1. For this tag, I started with a die cut tag from Simply Tags: Everyday dies. I used the thin stripe in Texture Tiles: Be Cute to stamp a random pattern in 3 colors, and the sentiment is from Simply Tags: Christmas. Don't you love that font? The little heart comes from the Bow Simply Tags: Christmas set and I covered it with white enamel accents. I've seen a lot of people doing that and I definitely love the look!
2. Ok, so here I gave in with the whole bacon craze. With some creative inking, the filler archs from Simply Tags: Christmas became little bacon slices, lol! The tag (die cut from the smaller die in this set) was finished with a sentiment from Simply Tags: Everyday.
3. This one shows what a quick and perfect backdrop you can make with the swiss dots from Texture Tiles: Be Cute. I simply stamped the dots and added a fussy cut sentiment from Simply Tags: Everyday. The tiny heart comes again from this dies, and was die cut from glitter craft foam.
4.This last one is my favorite from the set. First, I die cut the star from Ornament Simply Tags: Christmas dies and then stamped and heat embossed in gold the big star from Simply Tags: Christmas. I sponged pink ink on the open areas in the star image. The sentiment comes from Simply Tags: Everyday. I curved it on the clear block to follow the curved lines from the banner. Oh, and the banner was trimmed out after stamping the badge image.
Phew! That's it! Are you still with me? :) I hope this ideas inspire you to get creative with this fun sets. I still have lots of ideas, now I just need the time to sit and bring them to life...
Thanks for visiting!
