Hey there! I hope you had a Merry Christmas. Ours was really fun, specially because I bought a turkey and had no idea how to cook it. But lots of friends and family from around the world helped me via internet, and it was a great success! My very first turkey, people. I'm an adult now!
But today I'm not here to make a grand speech about my lack of cooking skills. I popped in to share a card :)
The inspiration came from Runway Inspired Challenge #50
Oh, how I fiddled around with this card! Mostly because I knew exactly how I wanted the layaout to be, but had no idea how to adhere the vellum so the adhesive wouldn't show. Finally, some strategically wrapped twine came to the rescue.
And the inspiration for using perfect pearls on vellum came from my friend Ana, who shared this awesome idea here.
Shine makes me happy...
So there you have it! I wish you all the best for 2014! Thanks so much for the nice comments you leave me, they mean A LOT to me.
So beautiful Lorena!! Love that elegant stamping, that background really is fantastic!! Great idea to use the vellum too, the result is so wonderfully soft!!

Oh la la lovely. Congrats on your turkey. We've been hosting a turkey day meal for about 20 years now and I'm oh-so-proud every time it goes off well! Keep up the good work. Happy 2014 to ya.

Congrats on the cooking success, chica!! Cooking a turkey is a huge accomplishment - and a pain in the butt! LOL Love your take on the RIC inspiration photo - I'll bet the shimmer from the perfect pearls is amazing in real life!
So, I heard through the grapevine that you'll be at CHA - is that true?! I would be so excited to meet you in real life! You've been one of my stamping heros for a while now, so to meet in real life would make my day! I'll be walking the floor with Kim Hughes from the 10th to the 13th, and we'll be staying at the Hilton (attached to the Convention Center), so if you're up for it, let me know and we'll arrange a meet up! Drinks on me! ;-)
