CFC127: Over the Edge

Hey friends! Time for a new CAS-ual Fridays challenge! I'm sorry I was pretty much MIA for the last two weeks, but it's been really busy at work and catching up with life after my trip to CHA. This two weeks just flew! So anyway, here I am with a new card. I don't know if it's over the top but it's certainly over the edge ;) Because the challenge for this week is to create a project with an element that extends over the edge!

I chose to extend a banner over the edge of my card. The colorful background was stamped with the smaller cluster in CFS Bold Wishes and the sentiment is from Papel Picado Banners by Avery Elle.

CFC126: Color blocks

Hey everyone! I'm back from CHA Winter in Anaheim! I had the most amazing time there and finally got to meet, hug and kiss (we Spanyards kiss a lot, ha!) lots of friends in real life. Oh, and also saw the most amazing new crafty goodies. But the best part was definitely the people, and specially spending time with my roomies Ashley and Tenia and making new friends too. The chats with these two ladies are something I will treasure forever in my heart and I hope we can repeat it!!! What a great experience :)

Ok, so time flew and we have a new challenge at CAS-ual Fridays. Think color blocking and translate that into your clean and simple project. Fun, right? You can play with inks, plain cardstock, patterned paper... lots of ways to create with blocks of color.

 I chose to make my color blocks by masking the card base and sponging ink. Then I stamped a sentiment from Bold Wishes by CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and a branch from Savvy stamps and finished with little dots of white enamel accents.

CFC125: In a Word

Hello there! Today we're bringing you the first CAS-ual Fridays Challenge of 2014! The challenge is to choose a word that describes what you hope for the new year and use it on your project. Fun :)

I haven't made a New Year resolutions list, but I definitely have a word for this year. Well, I actually have three: resolve, persistence, determination. In other words: I have to work to make things happen. I find that I tend to be lacking in perseverance, so that's my goal for 2014: more effort and less procrastination ;)

 

 

That said, here's my card. A bit of die cutting with the Cameo and a bit of stamping + perfect pearls (I can't put them down!)  to translate my 2014 goal into a card.
