Hello, friends! I hope your week is going great so far! Waffle Flower Crafts in one of the sponsors of the Cutting Edge Blog Hop and today I am playing along and sharing two projects I made using WFC dies. Nina designs the cutest and most versatile dies!
My projects feature the adorable Tiny Star die, although there are other dies making a guest appearance too. Let's get started with a card!
My goal here was proving that a die that fits in the "cutesy" style can be used on a masculine card too.
I die cut the tiny star a gazillion times from kraft cardstock and adhered them to a piece of kraft cardstock. I used two tones of kraft so the die cuts would stand out a bit. The yellow "out of a million" star was heat embossed with a Ranger sparkling gold powder.
The sentiment is from Starry Night stamp set. I used the rectangle from Surface - Tag Die - Scallop Add on to make the banner where I stamped the sentiment.
Next comes a tag die cut from the Surface - Tag Starter Kit dies. I stamped another sentiment from Starry Night and used a bunch of stars, once again from the Tiny Star die, and once again embossed with the sparkling gold powder I used on the previous card.
Love the "sugary" look! And can you believe how perfectly that super narrow font stamped and heat embossed? Woot!
See the hole reinforcer on the tag? I made it with the belt die from Surface - Tag Die - Santa Add-on.
Just another way to stretch your dies ;)
Thanks for stopping by and happy hopping!
That tiny star die is so cute! I love kraft on kraft with a touch of sparkle!
