Happy Thursday! Well, so I've finally carved some time to sit down and play with the new My Favorite Things Card Challenges! My dear friend Susan Opel is the Creative Ambassador (isn't that a cool title?) and hostess with the mostess over there. I was beyond excited when after Paper Crafts Mag closed it's doors, Susan announced this new position because frankly, I just can't imagine this paper crafting industry without her. So here's to many more years of creativity! Oh, and the Challenge DT has some serious talent in there. Just check it!
Ok, on to the card. I played along with Color Challenge #14.
And came up with this.
I started heat embossing white on white a label stamp from s MFT set called Well Worn Greetings. I've checked it on their site and is nowhere to be found, so I assume it's been discontinued *sigh*. Well, at least I'm using one of their products, even if it's in a testimonial way, ha!
Then, I built my focal point with a mix of stuff from my stash. A die cut word from Mama Elephant, flowers from PTI and a sentiment from Studio Calico.
And that's it! I have to confess I made a card and a tag for the previous color challenge but never got around to post them. I hope I'll organize better next time!
Thanks for visiting!
I love the embossing it's a great subtle way to anchor all the other elements!
