Hello there! Today the kind folks from Clique Kits invited the girls from the Waffle Flower Crafts DT to hop with them! I worked with the June Kit, called Dream Quest, which has lots of Crate Paper products and gorgeous embellishments. And even though it's a collection perfect for Travel themed projects, I chose to travel other paths...
My first project is a card, using patterned paper from the Kit and stamps from Waffle Flower. I started covering a card base with that cool chevron paper and then trimmed one of the journaling cards from another of the paper sheets. I love stamping on journaling cards! So I created a little scene.
I used the cow from Monochrome stamp set, the daisies from A Bunch stamp set and built a custom punny sentiment with the alphabet from Be My Guest stamp set.
Next, I framed the journaling card with a piece of black cardstock and adhered it to the card with foam tape. Then, I added two enamel dots to the flower centers and called it a day :)
Moving on to the second project: A pillow gift box.
This feather paper is so pretty! I was tempted to hoard it, but then I decided to be a good girl and put it to use. I die cut the pìllow box and assembled it. Second, I stamped and embossed the banner from Congrats stamp set on the cork patterned paper from the Kit. Cork printed paper, like woodgrain paper, is such a basic! I was super happy to see there was a whole 12x12 sheet in this Kit.
I die cut the Congrats die, adhered it to the banner and embellished everything with stars and arrows from the cute puffy stickers sheet also included in the Kit.
