Ok, so this month's inspiration image is stunning, and can be "read" in so many different ways. For my card I used the colors, the florals and the bautiful golden glow of the picture itself.
I stamped, masked and stamped again one of the blooms from Lotus stamp set, and did the same with the stems.Once I was done with my stamping, I watercolored everything with distress inks. I also watercolored an outline for the images using light blue ink, which helps making the images pop, and also fits the challenge color scheme.
For the sentiment, I stamped and white heat embossed the "Celebrate" from Congrats stamp set in a strip of gold cardstock (here's where the golden glow from the pic comes in!) and finished the card with three scattered sequins for good measure.
