Hey everyone! Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends who celebrate today!
I'm sharing a card I made last weekend. A Christmas one. As soon as I saw the Holiday digital cuts release from Hero Arts I fell in love with it! There are some gorgeous designs! Specially the sentiments, I have lots of ideas for those. Go here to check some of the Christmas die cut files.
But for this card I wanted to stamp the sentiment, so I didn't die cut it. Instead, I die cut this striped frame.
Then I cut a circle to fit behind the frame. Once I had my circle, I stamped the berries from this gorgeous set and then heat embossed a sentiment from this other set. Finally, I colored the berries with a copic marker, adhered the circle behind the frame and adhered the frame to the card base with foam tape.
As a final touch, I added glossy accents to all the berries. It took a while, but the result is so cool! Check it...
I'm entering this card in the Hero Arts Holiday Contest. The card fits the A Few of My Favorite Things categorie. Heat embossing and layering stamped images are two of my fave stamping techniques :)
Thanks for visiting!
